The funeral of the owner of the iconic Le Negresco hotel was held this Saturday morning in Nice at the Saint-Pierre d’Arène church by Father Gil Florini.
Jeanne Augier passed away on January 8th. She was 95 years old, and the people of Nice are paying their last respects to her this Saturday morning at the Saint-Pierre d’Arène church.

The name of Jeanne Augier was inseparable from Le Negresco, this institution on the Promenade des Anglais, the last French-owned palace in the country classified as a historical monument with its Belle Époque façade.
