The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra “steps out of its walls” and regularly offers free concerts in the city.

The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra presents a program dedicated to the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, under the direction of Frรฉdรฉric Deloche.

In the first part, discover the Romance for Violin and Orchestra in F minor (opus 11). The solo part is performed by Robert Waechter, the concertmaster of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the second part, discover the famous Symphony No. 9 (opus 25), known as the New World Symphony. This work achieved immense success upon its premiere in 1893, at which time Antonin Dvorak held the position of director of the National Conservatory in New York.
