This Friday at 8 PM and Saturday at 4 PM, it will be Daniel Gil de Tejada, the winner of the first international conducting competition of the Opéra de Nice organized last September, who will conduct the Philharmonic.
He will present himself to the public with a program that allows for the appreciation of his talents in a very diverse range.
First with contemporary music through “Tour à Tour,” a true concerto for orchestra by Philippe Hurel.
This will be followed by a great classic of the symphonic repertoire: “La Mer” by Claude Debussy.
A work with particularly developed and refined orchestration.
Finally, the third part of the program will consist of large excerpts from the famous and flamboyant “Il Trovatore” by Verdi. For this segment of the concert, the audience will enjoy the voices of the Opera’s Choir of Nice conducted by Giulio Magnanini, with Andrea Ulbrich (mezzo-soprano) performing the role of Azucena and Fabio Armiliato (tenor) as Manrico.
