This Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Espace Ligue in Nice (3 rue Alfred Mortier), the Alpes-Maritimes Committee of the League Against Cancer is organizing a conference on “Breast Cancer Prevention” as part of Pink October.
On the occasion of Pink October, which stands as a public event aimed at raising awareness and mobilizing against breast cancer, the Alpes-Maritimes Committee offers a day where the main messages will be: – the fight against breast cancer – Screening and women facing cancer.
Because today, the League wishes to refocus on the original message of Pink October, which is to promote screening and provide information about breast cancer, the association is offering a conference on the theme “Breast Cancer Prevention.”
This conference will be held at 5:00 PM at Espace Ligue. Dr. Anne-Sophie AZUAR, a gynecologist-obstetrician, will speak and answer questions from the public.
To enhance this day, in partnership with La Roche Posay, free makeup workshops will be offered starting at 1:00 PM. A professional makeup artist from La Roche Posay, Cyril Ruffinel, and the Aesthetic Care Center of the European School of Aesthetics in Nice will provide flash make-up sessions and care for people undergoing treatment.
