The Pink Parade, the Nice “Pride” march, will be both protest-oriented and festive.

Latest News

Last pride march of the French calendar, the Pink Parade will take to the streets of Nice this Saturday.

Festive and colorful, this major event is above all a committed and protest-oriented occasion, allowing associations to bring to the public the demands aimed at advancing LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi, and trans) rights, promoting equality, and ending discrimination. While the opening of medically assisted procreation (MAP) to all women is on the political agenda, several thousand people are expected at the Pink Parade on Saturday.

Fifty years ago, the “Stonewall” riots in New York gave rise to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi, and trans) movements and their determination to reject oppression, demand the respect due to everyone, and build a society based on emancipation and equality!

This Saturday’s Pink Parade aims to celebrate this history and show that the fight for human rights must be pursued more than ever in Nice, France, and around the world.
