The Port Neighborhood Committee visits the Urban Supervision Center.

As he committed during the General Assembly of the Port Districts Defense Committee and the environment on December 14th, Christian Estrosi will take the Director of the Committee as well as the merchants who had questions about the implementation of video verbalization in the Port district on a visit to the Urban Supervision Center this Friday.

This visit will be an opportunity to show that video verbalization is carried out with discernment and intelligence. The aim is not to penalize motorists but to change behaviors.

It is also an effective means of combating road insecurity, particularly by protecting pedestrians and two-wheel riders. Video verbalization indeed helps to combat traffic congestion and thus protect our environment.

Tested from as early as November 2010 in 3 zones, the system now involves 15 key sites identified as traffic bottlenecks, where double parking strongly hampers traffic flow.
