Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, will visit the renovated premises of the ULIS class (Localized Unit for Inclusive Education) at Port Lympia College in Nice.

The use of tablets enhances the teaching strategies deployed by teachers and the learning experiences of their students. This is particularly true for children with disabilities who are accommodated in the ULIS classes (Localized Unit for Inclusive Education).

The program, launched in September 2013 at Port Lympia College, is a success. Today, it allows 24 students from 6th to 9th grade, who have intellectual disabilities and/or psychological disorders, to be included in a regular school environment with periods of schooling in non-specialized classes and time spent in the dedicated class for regrouping.
