Othello: a very, very free adaptation of Shakespeare
by Bernd Lafrenz
Bernd Lafrenz on stage: an incredible actor
With Bernd Lafrenz, we won’t be swimming in tragedy but rather in unbridled farce. He gracefully switches from one character to another; narrator, Iago the traitor, Desdemona or Othello, taking you on a laughter-filled journey through the story which will end in so many deaths!
With the help of accessories, expressions, and movements, he imbues each character with their own personality and quirks, to the great delight of an audience closely involved in the unfolding of the show, sometimes playing the sea, sometimes being asked to be the crowd, or, on the ladies’ side, even fainting.
The audience enjoys a journey full of surprises all along.
Shakespeare as you have never seen it before, accessible to everyone and a great family-friendly show!
