On Sunday, October 26, the Promenade des Anglais will be entirely dedicated to running and well-being. The Prom’ Record Day is returning to Nice with a program open to all audiences, from children to experienced runners, centered around the same idea: engaging in sports in a spirit of sharing and solidarity.
Starting at 9 a.m., the first runners will set off for Ma Belle Prom’, a 5 km race delineated in five one-kilometer loops. Two waves are planned to distribute participants according to their pace. The event will take place on the famous Promenade des Anglais, a prime location for major sporting events in Nice.
At 10:40 a.m., the Relais CECAZ takes center stage, a team event covering the same distance. Each team, consisting of three to five people, will take turns on 1,000-meter segments. Teams must be mixed, and participants cannot run two consecutive laps.
The morning will continue with the Mile des Anglais, starting at 11:20 a.m. from Magnan. This 1,609-meter race, laid out in a straight line, promises a lively atmosphere along the coastline. The younger participants won’t be left out: at 11:35 a.m., the Kid’s Mile will offer three distances suitable for children under twelve.
Health-focused sports at the heart of the day
Alongside the races, a Sports and Health Space will be set up at the Village of the Prom’ Record Day, at the Quai des États-Unis. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., visitors can benefit from free individual physical condition assessments, conducted under the supervision of physical activity instructors from the Maison Sport Santé of Nice and the NCAA.
Introductions to Nordic walking and circuit training will also be offered. These activities are part of a preventive approach and the promotion of sports accessible to all. Participants can, if they wish, make a donation to benefit the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes.
The event is supported by the city of Nice and Harmonie Mutuelle, with the backing of the CECAZ, partner of the 5×1 km relay, and DSO, a historical partner. Together, they contribute to embedding the Prom’ Record Day into the sporting and civic landscape of the region.
Is registration still open for this 2025 edition of Prom’ Record Day?
Registrations are open online until October 24 on the Sport-Up website. It will also be possible to register on-site, at the Village of the Prom’ Record Day, on Saturday, October 25, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., or on the day itself starting at 7:30 a.m., up to an hour before each start.
The fees vary according to the events: €15 for Ma Belle Prom’; €15 per person for the Relais CECAZ; €11 for the Mile des Anglais, and €5 for the Kid’s Mile.
Beyond performance, the Prom’ Record Day aims to bring together residents, associations, and companies for a friendly experience on the Promenade des Anglais. It’s an opportunity for the people of Nice to rediscover their seafront in a different light, in a sporty and supportive atmosphere.
