The Sports Department of the city of Nice is organizing the 2nd edition of “Prom’SPORT” on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Nice. The goal is to raise awareness among children aged 5 to 12 about playing sports. Last year, 500 children participated in this completely sports-focused event.
Throughout the day, children can try numerous activities offered at Plage des Ponchettes and Quai des Etats-Unis, which will be transformed for the occasion into an open-air sports ground: Kayaking, athletics, mini-golf, fencing, mountain biking, gymnastics, sailing, climbing, beach tennis, combat games, and more. All these activities will be supervised by sports educators from the Municipal Sports Action.
Registrations are done on-site. A “pass card” will be given to children for access to the various activities.
Entry is free.
