In recent days, a petition has been posted online on the website change.org by the union of the CGT des Chemins de fer de Provence. Indeed, the board of directors of the Chemins de Fer de Provence has decided to replace the Annot-Digne-les-Bains rail link with a bus and coach line.
This decision aims to free up train carriages so they can be used to connect Nice and the Plaine du Var.
The union laments the neglect of the high Niรงoise hinterland in favor of the Nice metropolitan area. Therefore, there are 70 km of railway to defend, and it hopes to succeed in preserving this section, which is part of the cultural heritage of the region.
