Exceptionally in Nice after Paris, until September 16, the Espace Lympia and the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation are presenting “Traverser” by Raymond Depardon.
This exhibition, featuring around a hundred prints, texts, films, and documents by the author, is organized around four themes: “The Homeland” in dialogue with “The Journey” and “Pain” in dialogue with “Imprisonment.”
With writing as the common thread, this exhibition invites visitors to journey through the artist’s work, from his early days at the Garet farm to the present.
After Raph Gatti, Giacometti, and Patrick Moya, Espace Lympia will showcase the universe of Raymond Depardon.

On the occasion of this great artist’s visit to Nice, the Mercury cinema screened his film “12 Hours” late yesterday afternoon, in the presence of the artist.
