On the occasion of the plenary session that will vote on the 2018 budget, Renaud Muselier, president of the PACA Region, will present the Climate Plan, which will allocate nearly 20% of the regional budget in 2018, and in total more than 30% of the regional budget over the term.
Aiming to make Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur the driving force behind climate agreements, this particularly innovative plan outlines for the first time at the regional level, the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
It will be implemented through 100 initiatives that will make Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur a leading territory in energy transition, renewable energies, biodiversity protection, natural spaces, and air quality.
