This Monday, the Nissarte Local Currency will be inaugurated, announced jointly by Cristòu Daurore, President of the Republic of Nissa, and Ciril Joanin, President of the Occitan Federal Republic.
1500 notes, representing €19,675, will be in circulation from Wednesday, December 13 to Saturday, December 16 with 19 partners.
The currency exchange office will be operational from today at Lou Carretoun (18, bd Jean-Jaurès) from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM. The notes will be valid until 12/31/2018.

50-note, the hero Barbet: Lalin Fulconis
20-note, the heroine: Catarina Segurana
10-note, the hero: Pepin Garibaldi
5-note, the writer: Jousèp-Rosalindo Rancher
2-note: the Ratapinhata
1-note: the Nissardan Eagle
There will be parity between the Local Currency of Nissa and the Euro, and euro cent coins will also be used for the Local Currency.
The participating merchants, artisans, and associations will commit to respecting the Nissart Charter.
