Following the closure of the borders by France, particularly the one in Menton, the Roya Valley is experiencing an unprecedented influx of refugees in distress, including women, the sick, and minors, all in deplorable sanitary conditions.
Without any response from the public authorities, Government/Prefecture and Departmental Council, who are shirking their responsibilities, the collective “Solidarity Roya-French-Italian Border” has decided to open a humanitarian transit reception center starting this evening.
