The 650 volunteers from the Alpes-Maritimes (including more than 250 in Nice) are mobilizing with dedication to help and support the most vulnerable groups.
On the eve of this great solidarity collection, Joël Meynent, the departmental president, and the volunteers present at the headquarters on Avenue Monteil welcomed the visit of Christian Estrosi, the Mayor of Nice and President of the Metropolis.
The elected official expressed his gratitude to them and assured them of the support from the local authorities he leads throughout the year for this vital network in the fight against hunger.
For him, “The Restos du Cœur have become an indispensable partner in the fight against exclusion, particularly through food aid and social and economic integration.”
