Sanctuary of the Madonna of Fenestre, Saint Martin Vésubie
on the occasion of the mass celebrated by Father François-Régis Jamain and the procession
In the presence of Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, Monsignor Louis Sankale, Bishop of Nice, and Gaston Franco, Member of the European Parliament, Regional Councilor for PACA, Mayor of Saint Martin Vésubie, will visit the restoration work of the Jean-Paul II chalet.
Program:
10:30 AM: mass
11:30 AM: procession
12:00 PM: visit to the restoration work of the Jean-Paul II chalet, property of the diocese.
This building, constructed in 1926 by the carabinieri, features characteristics of typical high mountain Piedmontese architecture.
Carried out as part of the renewal of the Madonna of Fenestre site, the roof restoration work is funded thanks to a grant from the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes and the financial aids from donors and the diocesan association of Nice.
Once restored, the chalet will be able to host the numerous events organized at this very popular site.
