In the sports domain, the city of Nice offers numerous activities for young locals to engage in during the school period or during holidays in various facilities: Municipal Sports Schools, Neighborhood Sports Schools, Sports Animation Centers, Sports Centers for holidays, and municipal pools. For most activities, registrations open on Monday, August 28, 2006. An information day will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the various activity locations.
– Municipal Sports Schools
For children aged 7 to 14 years, on Wednesdays during the school period, the Municipal Sports Schools offer the opportunity to discover new sports every semester. The program includes basketball, soccer, rugby, athletics, gymnastics, handball, rollerblading, rugby, tennis, badminton, archery, as well as climbing, sailing, and sea kayaking.

– Neighborhood Sports Schools
For children aged 7 to 12 years, in the evening after school, the neighborhood sports schools, located near primary schools, allow the practice of numerous sports activities.
Registration on site – Activities are free of charge.
– Sports Animation Centers
During the school holidays, omnibus sports activities are offered to young people from Nice aged 8 to 18 at the Sports Animation Centers: Magnan, Charles Ehrmann Sports Park, Forum Nice North, and Pasteur Bon Voyage.

– Vacation Sports Centers
During the school holidays, discovery days, initiation, and improvement in sports activities are offered to children aged 9 to 13 years.

– Adapted Physical Activities and Handisport
For children aged 6 to 14 years, in the evening after school or on Wednesdays:
The Municipal Handisport School and the Municipal School of Adapted Sports offer a wide range of activities for children with motor, intellectual disabilities, or mental disorders.

– The Nice Plus Card
To register for the sports activities, the Nice Plus card is necessary. To obtain the Nice Plus card:
• Fill out a unique registration form available in most municipal facilities. This form can also be downloaded or updated at [www.nice.fr](https://www.nice.fr).
• Return the form with a medical certificate issued by the treating physician and a 50m swimming certificate for aquatic activities.
Once in possession of the Nice Plus Card, registration at the Central Sports Directorate (Palais Jean Bouin) from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., or at the municipal pools during public opening hours.
