The Rose Honored in La Colle-sur-Loup

Latest News

Declared the capital of the perfume rose in 1907, with a production of 600 tons of petals, La Colle-sur-Loup annually celebrates its favorite flower, the “centifolia,” with the return of spring, which was cultivated in the town in the 19th century. Sunday, May 13, 2012, from 10 am to 7 pm in the heart of the village.

The rose is interpreted in many ways, extending to the stalls that offer in a festive atmosphere a wide selection of plants, decorative objects, local products… and flavors and aromas around the rose.

For a day, the rose festival, which was created in May 1954, allows us to beautifully relive an aspect of the rich heritage of La Colle.
