Significant developments regarding the double murder of Hélène Pastor and her driver could emerge in the coming hours. The Marseille public prosecutor, Brice Robin, and the regional director of judicial police, Christian Sainte, will hold a press conference on this matter this Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the Marseille High Court.
Following this “case,” the Marseille prosecutor’s office opened a judicial investigation for “attempted murder and murder by an organized group.” The investigation is being led by the specialized interregional jurisdiction of Marseille.
At this stage, it is known that about twenty people have been arrested in Marseille, Nice, and Rennes.
These individuals reportedly include the executors of the murders, their accomplices, and the mastermind(s) behind the crime. The presence of Madame Pastor’s daughter, Sylvia, and her husband among those in custody hints at a possible “family affair.”
Madame Pastor also had another son, Gildo, who was hospitalized at Archet — where the criminal acts took place — following a stroke.
