The Wii is particularly suitable for elderly dependent people as playing these games requires little movement, maintains a certain level of cognitive vitality by stimulating memory, logic, and cognitive skills.
Playing these games as a team also facilitates communication around a common activity, allowing for the rediscovery of self-esteem and the joy of playing.
Following the presentation of this console, the children from the Moulins Leisure and Activity Center will offer a show to the residents, followed by a “galette des rois” (a traditional French cake served during Epiphany).
