The port of Nice is organizing a day dedicated to schoolchildren on Thursday, April 5th. More than 1,000 young students from Nice will have the opportunity to discover the port of Nice in an educational and fun way.
This “coup de coeur” operation will allow students to meet professionals, learn about activities and professions, and understand the history of their port.
This day will be organized around three main themes:
- Historical aspect; Professional and port education; Sustainable development
Program
Thematic workshops running simultaneously throughout the day, including a sea outing for all children
Demonstrations (sea rescue by firefighters, drug detection by the gendarmes’ dog, underwater cleaning by the port’s divers).
A personalized program for each class to ensure they experience as many workshops as possible and take advantage of the continuous activities offered at the port (guided tours, sea outings, drawing workshops, sustainable development workshops, storytelling, meetings with professionals, etc.).
