This year, the Fête de la Science, an essential national event for scientific culture, will celebrate its 30th anniversary!

In Nice, organized by the Université Côte d’Azur, it will take place for its 3rd edition (canceled in 2020) in the Jardins Albert 1er on the weekend of October 9th and 10th, 2021.

On this occasion, researchers from the Côte d’Azur, the services of the Métropole and the City, and companies will meet the general public for a weekend to discuss research and innovation.

This year, the Science Festival offers five thematic areas led by research laboratories and institutions from the Côte d’Azur, museums and technical services of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, scientific mediation associations, and companies:

Sea and environment: ecology and marine pollution, marine organisms in the Mediterranean, waste management, marine biodiversity

Living biology: research in molecular and cellular biology, research on certain pathologies, genetics, chemistry…

From the earth to the stars: astronomy, geosciences, seismic risk

Human being and society: human psychology, analysis of human behaviors, philosophy, arts, music, language, humans past and present

Physics, math, and new technologies: digital technology, robotics, algorithms, mathematics, artificial intelligence, connected sports

In total, about thirty organizations will host booths to allow visitors to discover, over two days, today’s and tomorrow’s research, innovation, and knowledge transfer through demonstrations, experiments, exhibitions, and games for children.
