With nearly 30% of seniors over 60 years old, Nice needed to establish a place that centralizes all information pertaining to this segment of the population. This has now become a reality, and the five floors of the new Maison des Séniors are entirely dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly. The reception on the ground floor is managed by the CLIC, with the animation service located on the first floor. The second floor is reserved for the seniors’ information and support service, while the third floor houses accommodation and home support services. Home care services are on the fourth level, and the top floor is reserved for the Directorate of Social Action and Health.
This set-up facilitates the management of cases, and for seniors who have more difficulty accessing the city center, there are three other branches: in the north (64 av. Cyrille Besset), in the west (2 av. du petit Fabron), and in the east (52 av. Denis Sémeria).
