“ACTOR’S ANAMORPHOSIS”

In theater, everything starts with play, the actor is the central axis of the theatrical art.
The actor must engage in a creative approach for anything to be possible. The work must involve the actor in their entirety, and by sharpening their perception and action skills, the actor can develop their creativity.
This seminar will tackle the two essential phases of the actor’s work:
The actor’s work on themselves and The actor’s relationship with their partner.
The application of these fundamental principles, which aims to gradually increase each one’s expressive strength, will be done through a methodical and playful approach.
Theatrical texts will serve as support for the different forms covered.

From IMPROV to TEXT…
At the start of rehearsal, the text still holds all its mysteries.
Improvisation based on the themes of the theatrical scene allows the exploration of its various ramifications and enriches the actors’ imagination.
This creative passage brings great breadth to the play when the actor returns to interpreting the work.
Each participant will receive a scene at the beginning of the session that they will work on during the week with a partner.
– The “Scales”: Breathing, develop vocal range, work in space to develop bodily imagination and physical release
– Emotions: to find sincerity, the “true play”
– Interpretation: during the week, the theatrical scene will be worked on, enriched by the materials used beforehand, to lead to a public presentation at the end of the workshop.
