Since 2011, these meetings have brought together social science researchers, heritage professionals, regional sports industry stakeholders (athletes, coaches, managers, supporters, journalists), and elected officials to discuss the forms and meanings of sports heritage.
This new edition already promises to be exceptional since, for the first time, it will be dedicated to mountains and their sports heritage. The meetings will therefore take place at the National Sports Museum in Nice, which will host the first session this Wednesday, and in Auron the following day.
As every year, the top specialists in the sports theme will be present during the numerous conferences and panel discussions offered.
