The seventh edition of the Meetings on Sports Heritage and Memory of Sport will take place on the 17th and 18th of January. A historical partner of this unique symposium in France, the National Sports Museum is once again involved as it will host the opening day this year.

Organized since 2011, these meetings bring together researchers in social sciences, heritage professionals, regional players within the sports field (athletes, coaches, managers, supporters, journalists), and elected officials to discuss the forms and meaning of sports heritage.

This new edition already promises to be exceptional as, for the first time, it will be dedicated to the mountain and its sports heritage. The meetings will therefore take place in Nice, the original host city of the symposium, and in Auron, the famous skiing resort in the French Riviera. As every year, top specialists in sports themes will be present at the numerous conferences and panel discussions offered.

The National Sports Museum will thus host the first session, on Wednesday, January 20th, from 2 PM to 7:30 PM.
