The weather situation is stable throughout the entire department. The good weather is expected to persist for a few days.
However, the avalanche risk remains very high.
All mountain outings, outside the secured ski area, are therefore to be avoided.
The clearing and securing work on access paths is ongoing.
They have secured the RD 6204 between Tende and the Tunnel. This access is therefore open. Residents of the “La Colombera” subdivision have been authorized to return to their homes.
However, the Tende Tunnel remains closed due to adverse weather conditions in Italy. The following roads are also closed:
RD 97: between Isola village and Isola 2000
RD 2205: between Isola and St Etienne de Tinée
RD 63: between St Etienne de Tinée and St Dalmas le Selvage
RD 91: St Dalmas de Tende– Castérino
RD 16: St Léger
RD 2202: Entraunes (access to Estenc)
The following towns and hamlets remain isolated: St Dalmas le Selvage, St Etienne de Tinée, Isola 2000 (municipality of Isola), Castérino, Estenc (municipality of Entraunes), St Gordolasque (municipality of Belvédère).
St Léger and La Croix sur Roudoule are served by a track only accessible to 4X4 vehicles.
The Departmental Operational Center of the Prefecture, in liaison with the mayors of these municipalities, coordinates emergency supply operations.
