With 16,687 employer establishments (associations, cooperatives, mutual societies, foundations, and businesses), 163,158 employees, and nearly 8.5 billion euros of added value in Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur, the social and solidarity economy is both rooted in the regional territory and a creator of wealth.

A first regional conference on the social and solidarity economy will highlight the contribution of ESS economic actors to job development and growth in Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur.

The orientations, means of development, and proposals for a regional ESS strategy will be debated.

This strategy will fully align with the regional scheme for economic development, innovation, and internationalization (SRDEII) of the PACA Region.

The presence of Stรฉphane Bouillon, Prefect of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region, Prefect of Bouches-du-Rhรดne; and Christian Estrosi, President of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur Region, will enable Denis Philippe, President of the Regional Chamber of ESS Enterprises in Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur, to present the conclusions as a roadmap for the years to come.
