In June last year, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis organized the 4th edition of the “Respect Futsal inter-district challenge.” This event brought together more than 240 young people from priority geographical neighborhoods of Nice and 5 communes of the Metropolis (Carros, La Trinité, Saint-André de la Roche, Cagnes-sur-Mer, and Saint Laurent du Var).
The participants from the 24 teams formed had to adhere to the rules set for this competition, which was under the theme of respect.
The team that was the most “fair play” on or off the field (“Evolution” supported by the association La Semeuse) will have the opportunity to attend a sporting event in Paris.
The team “Loyauté,” supported by the sports department of the city of Nice and which came in 2nd in the challenge, will have the chance this Wednesday, November 14, at 9:30 am to attend the training of the professional players of OGC Nice Côte d’Azur at the Charles Ehrmann Sports Park.
Consisting mainly of girls, 9 young people aged 12 to 16, most of whom come from the Nice Nord district, will have the chance to interact with Didier Digard, the captain of OGC Nice. They will also receive an autographed t-shirt.
Additionally, they will be invited by OGC Nice to the match between Nice and Toulouse at the Stade du Ray this Sunday, November 18.
OGC Nice is also organizing, on Wednesday, November 14, from 2 pm to 4 pm, a training session for mentally disabled children.
In the middle of Disability Week, OGC Nice Côte d’Azur and Special Olympics, in collaboration with the Departmental Committee of Adapted Sports of the Alpes Maritimes, are organizing an afternoon training session for mentally deficient children.
Around fifty children from 8 specialized establishments in the department will have the opportunity to participate in workshops (motor skills, technique, small games, etc.) set up by young players from the OGC Nice training center.
At the end of the training, a snack will be organized with professional players from the Club in attendance.
The event will take place at the OGC Nice Training Center – Sports Park.
