The AnimaNice centers are launching their annual collection in support of the Food Bank. A musical evening will mark the start of this solidarity movement.
From March 1st to April 12th, 2025, the 18 AnimaNice centers are mobilizing to collect food and essential products for the benefit of the Food Bank. This initiative relies on the participation of the people of Nice, who are invited to make donations in exchange for access to various shows and activities organized in the centers.
In 2024, more than five tons of products were collected, allowing for the distribution of 10,000 meals. Again this year, the goal is to help the most vulnerable with the generosity of the residents.
A concert to launch the collection
On Saturday, March 1st at 8:30 pm, the collection will officially be launched at AnimaNice Bon Voyage. The musical evening will feature the bands “Shakin’ Mamas” and “Hubert #06Trio” on the Black Box stage. Jean-Luc Gagliolo, deputy mayor, will be present to support this solidarity action.
Entry to the concert will be granted in exchange for four food items per person. This arrangement will be repeated for other events organized in the AnimaNice centers throughout the collection period.
Other highlights will punctuate this period. On March 6th, senior citizens with the Métropole Senior Nice Côte d’Azur card can attend the musical comedy “Montmartre, Can You Hear Me?”. On March 14th, AnimaNice Cimiez will host a concert by the band “Plastic Minds”, composed of young talents from Nice. A solidarity meal is planned on March 21st at the “La Maiouneta” restaurant of the AnimaNice Maioun dóu Rai center.
Finally, on April 12th, the collection will conclude with a concert by the young talents of the “Black Box Experience” project. This program supports young musicians from Nice in their artistic development. This evening will close six weeks of mobilization for solidarity.
