The Sophia Tech Campus will bring together all the academic players on a single site: the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, Eurecom, Inria, the École des Mines, CNRS, and Inra. 2,500 students will start the academic year, for a total population of 3,500 people.
An iconic campus reflecting a new creative dynamic
This campus aims to enhance synergies among participants and interactions between students, teachers, researchers, business clubs, and entrepreneurs, strengthen competitiveness clusters, facilitate the installation of platforms promoting business creation, and multiply opportunities for scientific production and innovations contributing to the attractiveness and prestige of the Alpes-Maritimes region.
This project, with a total cost of 73.3 million euros, is funded by the General Council to the tune of 34 million euros, the State with 17.2 million euros, the Region with 17 million euros, and the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community with 5 million euros.
