The 5th International Congress of the French Society of Sport Psychology (SFPS) will take place from May 12th to 14th by the Mediterranean, at the Faculty of Sport Sciences site, University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis. This congress, titled “Sport Psychology for Performance and Health across the lifespan” is sponsored by Stéphane Diagana, an exceptional athlete.
The main objective of this congress is to review scientific advancements in sport and exercise psychology for performance or health purposes, using diverse theoretical and methodological approaches.
The second objective is to promote the sharing of knowledge and experiences among various types of stakeholders (researchers, sports and health professionals, coaches, athletes).
Internationally renowned speakers, representing different scientific fields likely to contribute to a better understanding of the psychological mechanisms related to physical and/or sporting activities, will be present at this congress.
More than a hundred communication proposals following an international call for papers will also be presented, especially during thematic symposia related to performance sport or health-sport.
