Organized by the departmental Olympic and sports committee of Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free sports initiation event will take place on Tuesday at the Saint-André de la Roche Football Stadium, Wednesday in Cannes at the Ranguin sports plateau, and Friday in Carros at the Planet gym from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
It is intended for children and teens aged 4 to 14, and to participate, all you need to do is show up.
Young participants will have the opportunity to engage in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, baseball/softball, basketball, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, field hockey, road safety course (FFST), pétanque, sport boules, tennis, and volleyball.
The Sports Caravan aims particularly to impart the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand, along with various games, contests, and activities about the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
