Organized by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the Departmental Council 06 and the Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion Youth and Sports service, the Sports Caravan takes place during school holidays as follows:
– 4 stages during the Winter and Spring vacations
– 26 stages from the end of June to the end of August
This event allows young people between the ages of 4 and 14, who do not always have the opportunity to practice them, to discover several sports for free.
In addition to the goal of playfully introducing these activities, it promotes an increase in the number of young members in clubs.
Moreover, the presence of experienced athletes helps develop enthusiasm for these disciplines.
