The Sports Caravan shows its good results from the 2013 edition.

A visibly very satisfied Philippe Manassero presented the results of the 2013 Sports Caravan, the flagship summer event of CDOS 06, which met with real success this summer from June to August across the 17 participating municipalities of the department.

In fact, the key figures support the new president of CDOS 06, who, for the first time, put his signature on the event: More stages (17), more sports disciplines (17 instead of 10), more participants (2700), and a controlled budget (17,000 euros in actual expenses).

Valberg, Saint Laurent du Var, and La Colle sur Loup are the municipalities that symbolically should be on the podium for the largest number of young participants.

Surrounded by his colleagues, whom he wanted to warmly thank (“everyone contributed their part”), Philippe Manassero kindly reminded of the two major axes that make the Sports Caravan an extremely valuable and increasingly popular initiative among municipalities and departmental sports committees: the territorial coverage and the social connection. All this through sports activities.

Mission accomplished, the goal being for residents and young vacationers to get initiated into a multitude of sports, some known and others completely unknown to them!

Thanks to the work of the field team, led by Antoine Manassero and Nelly Naudin, all the logistics were set up at each stage so that the 17 host municipalities enjoyed a “turnkey” organization, greatly facilitating better success.
