stranglers.jpg It was in 1974 that “The Stranglers” were formed, but it was in 1977 that the charts embraced the band and the “Rattus Tour” made way for the “No more heroes” tour which marked their rock-soaked beginnings.

Jet Black, David Greenfield, Jean-Jacques Burnel, Paul Roberts, and Baz Warne will be in concert this Friday, March 30th, 2007 at 8:30 PM at Théâtre Lino Ventura with tracks from their latest album “Suite XVI” released last September.

A bit of nostalgia for the parents and perhaps a discovery for teenagers, the English band that has left a small spot for a “frenchie” to play some of the slickest rock of recent generations.

Opening will be BP Zoom from Lille, delivering chords born of the sound of ACDC, Téléphone, or Offspring. Lionel, Jules, Raphaël, and Ludovic, who have previously opened for Trust, Bertignac, or Keane, will prepare a surely well-filled venue.

Friday, March 30th at 8:30 PM
