This new service is integrated into the Cleanliness Department. It consists of 20 people divided into 3 rapid intervention teams:
– 19 cleanliness agents,
– 3 supervisors,
– 2 managers
Intervention Schedule
The teams are operational 24/7. Day and night teams take turns. The teams can be mobilized in less than 20 minutes for interventions within 2 hours.
The missions of the FRAP will be carried out in close cooperation with the four cleanliness sectors, the division controlling private companies, and the collection department of CANCA.
Missions of the FRAP
The FRAP’s missions mainly focus on the issue of small waste (greasy papers, chewing gums, bus tickets), dog droppings, tags and graffiti, wild posting, and wild dumping.
The FRAP aims to intervene in connection with the Service for the Protection of the Living Environment, which is responsible for recording and penalizing all incivilities and environmental offenses.
– Evacuation of waste and residues following accidents, incidents, or disasters,
– Collection of “re-emerging” household waste,
– Emptying overflowing cleanliness bins,
– Management of cleanliness bins in tourist areas (Promenade, Masséna, Port…) especially after 6 PM,
– Enhanced monitoring and maintenance of “black spots” in dense urban areas,
– Action on uncontrolled deposits (cardboards, bulky household items, rubble…). This intervention will include the evacuation and complete cleaning of the area,
– Clearing of mudflows and minor landslides.

The call is free of charge.
The switchboard records the grievances of the people of Nice from 8 AM to 8 PM every day, including weekends. Calls are logged on a report, and the grievances are immediately relayed to a FRAP intervention team, which will act within a maximum of 2 hours.
