For this new year, the communication BTS students from Lycรฉe du Parc Impรฉrial in Nice have created a calendar themed around the most popular television series. The goal: to showcase their work and skills to companies.

The new calendar created by the communication BTS students from Lycรฉe du Parc Impรฉrial has just been released. This year, TV series are the theme of this new edition. The work is based on the concept of parody by “selling COM”. The students, divided into several groups, have entirely created this calendar since September: theme research, series research, creation of taglines, organization of photoshoots, computer graphics, relations with the printer, distribution. “After analyzing what had been done in previous years, we opted for this theme through which we could well express communication and the spirit of BTS,” explains Angรฉlique, the student responsible for the project.

The difficulty of choosing the taglines

The release of this calendar is an opportunity to develop public relations with all the partners of the BTS communication (communication agencies, internship supervisors, institutions, media, etc.). Therefore, it was necessary to find the right balance between COM and the chosen theme. The student admits that “a very important and very difficult job was done for the taglines, which must correspond at the same time to the BTS and at the same time to the series. The creation of the computer graphics also required a lot of expertise in photo editing.” She also recalls the good times spent during the development of this project: “the day of the photoshoots was great, one of the best moments we shared with all the BTS COM students but also with students from other BTS who agreed to join in. Not to mention our teachers who also kindly participated and posed for photos.”

Raising awareness of BTS and attracting the attention of professionals

The calendar is one of the projects of the BTS communication at Parc Impรฉrial through which students showcase their skills in practice. Thus, it contributes to facilitating their integration into professional life. “The calendar is sent to all communication professionals in the region. Our goal is to make BTS known and to show professionals what we are capable of, showing that we have completed a project from A to Z, from the idea to the design.” This year again, the professional magazine Stratรฉgies is a partner of the calendar by presenting it in one of its issues.
