The city of Nice has been developing initiatives for several years within schools to raise children’s awareness of republican values. The goal is to promote civic and citizen reflection, in extension of the school curriculum, in collaboration with the Academic Inspectorate.
By April 2017, more than 1,200 fourth-grade students will discover this show.
The play “The Book to Turn Back Time – Journey in the Republic” travels through time and French history, addressing republican values and the universal declaration of human rights through the eyes of a young boy from an underprivileged neighborhood.
