Four days before the second round of the presidential election, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, the between-round debate will take place, pitting Franรงois Hollande against Nicolas Sarkozy. The New Centre and the PS 06 are organizing their broadcast evening.
As they prepare for it each in their own way, the teams of Franรงois Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy have negotiated down to the finest details. Height of the chairs, distance between the candidates, temperature of the studio… The demands of the two contenders for the highest office have even been subject to a charter.
The debate will begin at 9 PM and is expected to last at least two hours. It will open on economic themes, then questions of security and immigration will be discussed. The conclusion should address foreign policy topics.
The New Centre and the PS 06 are organizing their broadcast evening
For Nicolas Sarkozy, the New Centre represented by Rudy Salles will host a presidential evening at its headquarters, 31 Jean-Mรฉdecin Avenue starting at 8 PM.
The federation of the Socialist Party of Alpes-Maritimes for Franรงois Hollande will also hold its broadcast at 9 Biscarra Street in Nice at 8:30 PM.
