– The Swiss Society of Nice became the SWISS ASSOCIATION OF NICE during the Extraordinary General Assembly on 15.01.2011. Indeed, the statutes were somewhat “dusted off” and during the Ordinary General Assembly, the new board of directors was elected.
The Epiphany cake and the New Year’s greetings provided an opportunity to meet new members and discuss the events for the year 2011.
The program includes “theater” and “music” evenings, excursions, a conference, museum visits, the traditional “raclette,” and the National Day, as well as other projects, perhaps even a trip to Switzerland!
The new Committee (Henri Moréna, President – Marie Danielle Bahisson, Vice-President – Klaus Kirchberger, Treasurer – Francine Moréna-Aubert, General Secretary) and the board of directors will work to propose activities for everyone (young members have joined us!) so that this historic Swiss club, present in Nice for decades, can demonstrate the dynamism of the Swiss abroad on the shores of the Mediterranean!
