Sara Korbanka, a truly unique artist

Latest News

Sara Korbanka, a truly unique artist, has had an unusual life journey, as evidenced by her works.

Her childhood spent in India, surrounded by its voluptuous and mysterious arts, awakened in her a quest that led her to explore the myths and legends of medieval old Europe and to discover illumination. This sacred art, originally dedicated to the glory of the divine, became the link uniting all her influences into a rich, delicate, sensual, and luminous body of work.

With a life philosophy all her own, she transports us into her world of magic and purity, where shimmering and subtle colors coexist, enhanced by sheets of gold, silver, and copper.

Sara Korbanka sees life through the eyes of a poet, and conveys her vision through her artwork.

Technique (same for all):
Acrylic, watercolor, gold and silver leaf, copper powders on handmade papers or those made from tree bark.

Exhibition from April 27 to 30, 2006 by the artist Painter SARA KORBANKA.
