All activities offered during the ten days are free and accessible to all. And the program is extensive. Workshops, conferences, performances, and debriefings with artists will be arranged for the greatest pleasure of the audience.

Each show will be performed in the original language of the actors. A typical day of this World Theatre Festival starts with conferences in the morning, a workshop in the afternoon, and three performances in the evening from 6 pm to 10 pm. With 24 countries represented, this edition offers theatre enthusiasts a true window to the world and a remarkable opportunity to discover the creativity and talent of artists from diverse cultures and sensitivities.

Each nation presents its show twice over two consecutive days. The performances will take place at the Garnier Hall, the Théâtre des Variétés, and the Princess Grace Theatre. This is a way to pay tribute to these actors coming from everywhere by offering them high-quality facilities. It is important to note that 200 volunteers will be there to support the 350 to 400 actors and the 8,000 to 10,000 spectators expected.

In summary, this event will allow for the discovery of theatre in an educational manner for beginners. For others, it’s an opportunity to attend performances by talented artists from different cultures and backgrounds. An ambitious challenge initiated 56 years ago by the World Theatre Festival with the aim of making culture and performances accessible to as many people as possible.
