The Thiole Garden has reopened its doors after two months of renovations!

Latest News

This project was selected as a priority by the local residents during the first Territorial Council dedicated to the “Central North” area, where the population density is the highest in Nice with 50,000 inhabitants over 332 hectares.

The new features:

A new lawn has replaced the old, aging one.

A new rope play area with a slide has been installed.

A spray area with 6 masts replaces the old fountain, with a non-slip coating on the ground.

The two accesses to Thiole Alley (Villermont Avenue and Malaussรฉna Avenue) are closed in the evening with double-leaf gates at the same hours as Thiole Garden to positively respond to the residents’ demands and improve safety.

Now, by the end of 2018, the pรฉtanque court will be removed and the Thiole space will benefit from a landscaping redevelopment.

The district has also acquired a carousel on the forecourt of the Gare du Sud, on the Robert Thivin Street side. A typical merry-go-round that fits into an eco-design approach thanks to eco-labeled paints and noble and recyclable materials.
