The Nice Carnival 2025, themed “King of the Oceans,” will take place from February 12 to March 2. On the program are illuminated parades, flower battles, and free animations. Tickets are available online and on-site starting February 6.
From February 12 to March 2, 2025, Nice will host the Carnival themed “King of the Oceans.” The festivities will combine tradition with new elements. Tickets have been available since Wednesday, December 18, on the official website.
The Nice Carnival will offer numerous events for all ages. The festivities will begin with the Richelmi charivari on February 12, followed by the Veglione ball on February 14. On February 15, the grand popular day “Carnavalina” will gather residents in the city center and on Place Masséna for free activities.
Spectators will enjoy the must-see illuminated parades, flower battles, and parades. The opening parade is scheduled for February 15 at 8:30 PM. Four illuminated night parades (on February 18, 22, 25, and March 1 at 8:30 PM), one daytime parade (on February 23 at 2:30 PM), and four flower battles (on February 19, 22, 26, and March 1 at 2:30 PM) will punctuate these weeks of celebration.
Disguised participants can access the promenades for free, subject to availability. A new grandstand has been added on the Promenade des Anglais. It will be located opposite the Théâtre de Verdure to accommodate more spectators.
A pricing policy similar to the previous year
Tickets are available online and, from February 6, at the main ticket office on the Promenade du Paillon. Prices remain unchanged compared to 2024.
- Illuminated parades and flower battles: €28 in zone A (Place Masséna), €23 in zone B (Promenade des Anglais)
- Daytime parade: €23 in zone A, €20 in zone B
- Children: €10 for the grandstands, €5 to €14 for the promenades depending on the shows
- Two-show package: €45 in zone A, €40 in zone B (excluding Saturdays).
