The Tour de France of Diversity, a relay of the Charter, challenges, and initiatives across the country, is stopping in Nice!

Latest News

Last September 28th in Paris, during the launch of the 2018 Tour de France of the Diversity Charter, organized in over 15 cities in France, the renewed vision of this charter was presented.

Beyond its initial commitments, it strengthens the links between diversity, equal opportunities, and economic and social performance, and is open to all organizations.

Because it meets the needs of private and public companies, the Diversity Charter*, managed by the network “Les entreprises pour la Cité,” has been consistently successful since 2004, with a steadily increasing number of signatories: 1,000 in 2008, more than 3,800 today.

Its scope goes beyond large companies. Indeed, nearly 80% of its signatories are small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), and about 150 local authorities and institutions, including the City of Nice since 2008 and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis since 2011.

This Thursday, at the City Hall, the historic signatories will renew their commitment alongside new signatory companies, and the 2018 Diversity Charter Awards will be presented to the winning companies.

The ceremony will take place in the presence of Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, Senator of the Alpes-Maritimes, Maty Diouf, Deputy Mayor in charge of the Fight against Discrimination and Equality, Anne Deschanel, General Secretary of the Diversity Charter, and Philippe de Gibon, National Administrator of Enterprises for the City.
