The city hall decides to introduce young people from Nice to the aquatic world through several activities.
From May to September, on the Li Rateta beach, in collaboration with schools, nautical activities like surfing or catamaran sailing will be organized. The beach will serve as a recreation center offering activities that are both fun and educational, such as introductions to navigation. Young people aged 6 to 17 will be able to enjoy a less “traditional” setting by the sea. Since the launch of this initiative, more than 650 registrations have been recorded in just one day. An online registration desk is also available on the city hall’s website for any sign-ups.
It is possible to participate in half-day, full-day, or even week-long courses.
Motivated children and reassured parents, snacks with friends, and a lot of equipment made available, along with a safety guarantee, are all the benefits offered by this kind of “sea club.”
