The penultimate stage of the 10th edition of the Challenge Trail Nature 06 will take place on the rocky paths of the Endurance Shop trail in Gorbio, which returns to the championship this coming Sunday, October 8, after a year of absence.
A Discovery race of 16 km with a 900 m elevation gain, and a Trail of 42 km with a 2,895 m elevation gain are on the program, along with 2 non-Challenge events: a vertical kilometer organized on Saturday to open the event and a 9.5 km race held on Sunday morning like the other two races.
At home, Joël Artieri, one of the season’s revelations, will be a formidable opponent on the long course. However, he will have a tough task ahead with the numerous contenders in the Trail ranking who have not yet reached their race quota. For the others, there are only two stages left to earn the precious volunteer bonus, which could make the difference in the final podiums…
