The Transmission Days in Nice

Latest News

This event, created in 2010, is offering a rich program with new activities for its second edition. The “Transmission Days” are a special moment aimed particularly at the children of the City of Nice to raise their awareness of the tangible and intangible heritage of the History and Culture of Nice and its County.

nca_np.jpg This transmission occurs in a playful manner, so that pleasure accompanies learning. The young people of Nice are introduced to the knowledge, skills, and traditions of our elders, and thus incorporate, through archival documents, language, stories, songs, city center visits… the richness of our collective memory.

It was within this framework that the Petite Ecole du Patrimoine was opened last year. This first anniversary will be celebrated on Friday, October 21st at 2 p.m., and on this occasion, the assessment of this essential transmission tool will be presented.

Continuing from the CD-Rom for raising awareness about the Niรงoise language and culture, its history, and geography, produced in 2011 and distributed to all CM1 and CM2 students, a second interactive CD-Rom titled “Eviva Carneval!” will honor the Nice Carnival this year, aimed at CM2 students of Nice.
